There was live rock music and all kinds of leather at City Hall, as Arina Voron and Sanne Sehested Nielsen debuted with their Gestuz show, full of youthful courage and good energy surrounding Barbies and cowboys. Skirts with maxi and skirts with mini hem and hurray for the woollen Gestuz socks. And in between all the black clothes without any age restrictions: Vivid colour-blob khaki, grey and burnt orange in sweet union.
Yet, it was impossible to take your eyes off the Gestuz girls' long, hot leather boots with good old-fashioned lacing, which had inspired the corsages and blouses too. The sturdy crafting of the boots has the potential of becoming a sales hit of dimensions, just wait and see.
And yes! I loved Arinas laces etcetera.
