Runway Review
Ann-Sofie Back's latest offering was inspired by sunglasses, often regarded as a status symbol in her home country. The London-based Swede's collection was interspersed with gigantic sunglasses lenses as sequins, and she levied towards a wider shoulder, despite the non-universal appeal of the somewhat unflattering shoulder pad. Additionally the bed-head hair placed added focus on the charmless fashions of the 80s. Nevertheless Back's version was aptly updated and had an air of refinement.
