Won Hundred

Having long felt the urge to launch his own vision of a distinctive clothing line Nikolaj Nielsen, an industry veteran with a vast background in denim, founded Won hundred with the ambition to challenge the way fashion was grasped in native Denmark.
After a debut collection compiled by two freelance designers Pernille Schwarz, a remarkable graduate from the renowned Designskolen Kolding, accepted the task of defining the brand´s expression and began the journey with a collection rooted in classical menswear and traditional formalwear.
Being a new brand with a willingness to take risks, Won hundred soon experienced a rapidly increasement in interest and attention from both press and retailers. The following season the brand launched an extensive ready-to-wear collection ranging from t-shirts to tailor made suits for both men and women flanked by a comprehensive jeans programme.

Today the team behind Won hundred works proactively with the mantras; passion, awareness, reaction & fascination in all senses from early stage sketches to final production. The entrepreneurial approach to the
Inspiration is, whether conceptual or by sudden impulse, primarily found within different movements in music, cinema and art and serves as a foundation for the sustained mission; to define a modern style for the multifaceted and enthusiastic individuals.

So far 2008 has presented several milestones in the company's history. In February Won hundred hosted their first major fashion show during the Copenhagen Fashion Week and had several great reviews by the international press.
The following weeks the imagebooks for both S/S08 and A/W08 won renowned European and American Art Direction awards in the category Best Catalogue.
2008 will also mark the year where the company will enter the retail business realising a flagship store in Copenhagen.

Won hundred has in less than 4 years managed to establish a strong foundation and identity on a national as well as an international level. Today the brand is represented in more than 170 selected stores around the world and has established offices and showrooms in Copenhagen Denmark, Stockholm Sweden and at agencies scattered across Europe.

Each year Won hundred presents 4 collections replenished by a basic programme.
