Danish born Astrid Andersen graduated at the top of her class from the prestigious Royal College of Art MA course in 2010. Her graduate collection
received huge acclaim from the industry and jump-started the Astrid Andersen own label which has been growing ever since as a result of fantastic press coverage riding high on the current trend for luxurious street style design.
In 2010 Astrid Andersen was nominated as Talent 2010 by Italian VOUGE and in 2011 she was nominated by Dansk Fashion Award as ´Danish Design Talent of the Year´.

In 2011 Astrid Andersen held her first independent show in Copenhagen receiving enthusiastic appraisal and continuing to attract incredible international press and buyers. She was also represented in London as a part of the widely acclaimed Fashion East installation in Somerset House.
As a result Astrid Andersen is now based in both London and Copenhagen, combining the best of two worlds by working and manufacturing from her studio in Copenhagen - reassuring the high level of quality of each garment whilst having the collections represented in London to ensure the creative philosophy behind the designs.

The brand is driven by a creative core and a love for the craftsmanship that respects quality and individual style as the main aspects of fashion. The luxurious street style is something completely new to the Copenhagen fashion scene and with its bold statements and playful universe it sets a new international standard for Copenhagen fashion week.
