Designers Remix
Words by Didder Rønlund
It will not be winter again without a chic little black dress. Especially, if designed by Charlotte Eskildsen. In all modesty, it was this exact dress, which characterised her remix. According to
Coco Chanel, that is always much harder to present than the more flashy garments of a collection.
I saw this, as a tightened elegance from Designers Remix for the show at the old terminal of Kastrup Airport, where another "must" would be a pair of tailored tuxedo trousers that go with anything,
as well as blouses, jackets and knitwear to tone up or down as necessary.
Sleek, sophisticated evening dresses and tailored coats for fashionistas, Mrs. Eskildsen knows how to make, and the wide pleated miniskirt will be hard to ignore. For the winter season,
appropriately worn with a pair of woollen stockings. But those we did not see. Whether you sensed an inspiration from 60's Balanciaga or Tokyo's high street, the balance between evening and day
wear was held professionally throughout the show with Grenå / Buchard backstage and an exiting finale, which presented 10 years of design remix from Charlotte Eskildsen.
