Hellerup Tekstil Akademi started out as Hellerup Sy- og tilskærerskole back in 1944. Today, as BEC Design, it is the creative educational centre of Copenhagen, training Design Technologists and e-designers. At BEC Design we teach the students to think and work creatively, to question the existing and find new ways, always focusing on the market value of the designs and products the students create. Good design is a design that produces well, and can be marketed and sold. BEC Design cooperates with a long list of companies in developing our courses. Therefore the students are well qualified in handling a lot of tasks in their career after they graduate.
