At KEA Design/Business we are teaching design from a business point of view. It enables students to carry out creative design ideas on a financially sound basis.
Our higher educational programmes are equally theoretical and practical. All theory must be applicable in practice and all students are acquiring valuable hands-on experience through internship in a company.
We are continuously collaborating with a number of companies to ensure that education is up to date and relevant to the industry. And student projects are to the greatest possible extent based on authentic issues and cases in fashion and lifestyle companies.
Design Technologists learn to design, source and market design products. They are specialising in Trend & Design Strategy, Fashion Design, Accessery Design, Pattern Design, Sourcing, Sales & Marketing, Brand Building or Experience Marketing.
e-designers specialise in Spatial & Interior Design or Graphic Design. The e-designer programme combines design and idea generation with communication, project management and business subjects such as marketing, logistics and economics.
Our top up bachelor in Design & Business is an opportunity for graduates from the Design Technologist, e-designer or similar programmes to take their education to a higher level. Students choose one of three specialisation modules: Fashion Design, Brand Design or Ideation Design.
