Danish Fashion Institute
The Danish Fashion Institute is a new network organisation created by and for the Danish Fashion industry to promote Danish fashion. Our purpose is to develop an extensive global network to support, market and drive Danish fashion forward. Inaugurated on the 1st November 2005, today the network consists of over 80 companies and related institutions.

Danish fashion is growing in interest, with over 500 brands currently on the market. Our intention is to strengthen the global position of Danish fashion through recognition of our unique angle on aesthetics and design. Furthermore, we hope to encourage innovation, stimulate industry, and increase visibility opportunities for design talent towards potential investors.

The Danish Fashion Institute is the official company behind Copenhagen Fashion Week, organising all the shows and providing daily updates of events, runway photos and reviews as well as press info at www.copenhagenfashionweek.com. We've also created the pocket guide, Guide to Copenhagen Fashion Week, with all the musthave knowledge about CFW to enhance your experience of Copenhagen Fashion Week with extra insight into where to go in between the shows and after hours.

We are open to your input and impressions about Danish fashion. If you are professionally connected to the fashion industry and would like to share your experience of Copenhagen Fashion Week or any other ideas, please write to info @ danishfashioninstitute.dk or see danishfashioninstitute.dk
