Copenagen Fashion Week

As the culmination of this summer's Copenhagen Fashion Week Helena Christensen will open the World's Greatest Catwalk, and will be opening the catwalk with a speech to the expected 100,000 spectators.
The World's Greatest Catwalk will take place on the pedestrian street in the centre of Copenhagen, Strøget. The street will be transformed into one long runway where 220 models will walk 1 mile (1.609 km) and beat the world record for the longest catwalk ever.

Copenhagen Fashion Week kicks off with dressmaker of the royalties. Gown purveyor to the Crown Princess amongst others, Copenhagen-based designer Ole Yde infuses his classic collections with a dreamlike, almost ethereal vision of the feminine. The official CFW opening show pays homage to classic female beauty with elegant cuts and high-quality fabrics.

During Copenhagen Fashion Week, Nikon provides professional services to all fashion- and press photographers. The best fashion photographs are soon to be captured in Copenhagen. Again this season the services includes loan of equipment, service, and check & clean.

The show schedule for the upcoming fashion week is now online. This time with even more Scandinavian brands on the runway. We are pleased to announce that four Norwegian brands and three Swedish brands will be conquering the catwalks of Copenhagen in August. The upcoming Copenhagen Fashion Week gets a fashion event of hitherto unseen dimensions. "Strøget" between City Hall and Kongens Nytorv will be transformed into the world's longest outdoor catwalk at 1.6 km.
