About Danish Fashion Institute

Danish Fashion Institute is a network organisation created by and for the Danish fashion industry. Our purpose is to develop an extensive global network to support, market and drive Danish fashion forward. It was inaugurated on 1 November, 2005.

The worldwide interest in Danish fashion is growing, and there are currently more than 800 brands on the market. We aim to strengthen Danish fashion's global position by spreading recognition of our unique angle on aesthetics and design. We also hope to encourage innovation, stimulate industry and increase visibility opportunities for design talents targeting potential investors.

A subsidiary of Danish Fashion Institute, Copenhagen Fashion Week is our biggest initiative and one of the main forces for promoting and marketing Danish fashion both globally and locally.

We are open to your inputs on Danish fashion. If you are professionally connected to the fashion industry and would like to share your experience of Copenhagen Fashion Week or impressions of Danish collections, please write to info@danishfashioninstitute.dk or see www.danishfashioninstitute.dk
