From her tanining routines to what she loves most about Copenhagen, read our interview with Copenhagen Fashion Week's CEO: Camilla Frank
What’s your favorite daily ritual?
Training! I feel a strong urge to work out every day - running is an all time favourite but lately I have been obsessed with TRX to try to develop a muscle (or two) and with bicycling, here obsessing about my trainer.
Where do you go when you want to relax or get inspired in your city?
I have a lot of rituals in my city Copenhagen, and fortunately I just moved back to the heart of the city. In the summer I go sailing on a canal tour or read books and (fashion)magazines on my favourite bench in Kongens Have next to a statue of our famous fairytale author Hans Christian Andersen. In the winter I love to visit the museum Davids Samling
, a beautiful little treasure box of art, ceramics and jewellery and to drink hot chocolate with huge amounts of whipped cream at La Glace
Best fashion week memory?
It is very difficult to single out: So let me take two: When Alexander Mcqueen
literally took the breath away from a full audience showing Kate Moss as a hologram on the catwalk in Paris in 2006 and in Copenhagen when Danish designer Julie Fagerholt showed her Heartmade
collection at her first - and still - only catwalk show ever at the just opened Nimb hotel. Stunning details in her designs has amazed me for years and I would love to see Julie fill out the catwalk again.
