The 163-year-old Jeans company, Levis, joined the “green wave” in 2013. One of their visions is to close the loop of denim production, concentrating on how to create denim material from post-consumer water. This has resulted in the Waste<Less™ collection, where all products have been made from recycled material. A big part of the recycled materials are plastic bottles, that are turned into products such as Levi’s® 511™ Skinny jeans, Levi’s® Trucker jackets and the women’s Levi’s® Boyfriend Skinny jeans. Since the collection launched in 2013, they have used 11.9 million recycled bottles for products.
